CANDY BARR Burlesque Film Found! A rare, previously unknown original stag film of legendary Burlesque dancer Candy Barr has been located by Vintage Sleaze the Blog. Details and stills are HERE on the Vintage Sleaze Site. Titled “The Vegas Vixon” the film dates to 1956, and may well be a rehearsal for the “My Tale is Hot” film which has surfaced earlier.

Hmm…Here is Bettie Page drawn by Eric Stanton in 1962, but I am getting a definite Steve Ditko comic vibe. Hey Spiderman? What’s with the BATS?
In 1962, Eric Stanton and Steve Ditko were sharing studio space. Draw your own conclusions… this is 1962 mind you. Eric Stanton was even credited as “Art Director” at the time, though they spelled his fake name wrong, as Eric Stanten.
